Behind the scenes: Se7en

We got the exclusive!

The making of the music video with Moozlie and Kid X

MTV Base’s hip hop queen supreme, Nomuzi Mabena, and Cashtime Records’ new hot property, Kid X, teamed up once again to shoot the video for their smash single, “Se7en”.

The video tells the story of two love-struck Soweto cool kids, who ditch work to meet up for a night of rebellion and romance.

Think Drake and Riri in “What’s My Name?” – but better!

Described as a “township love story with a Skhanda twist to it” by Moozlie, we went behind the scenes of the video shoot to spy on SA hip hop history in the making!

Here’s an idea: forget behind the scenes, get on the scene with the stars of “Se7en” with the competition below.

The music video is directed by Mr Cashtime himself: K.O. Talk about being an overachiever, huh?

Kid X and Moozlie keep it classic in black and white. Those knee-high socks are the real MVP!

Video stylist, The Threaded Man aka Siya Beyile, and his muse toast to their awesome careers.
